Now, I completely understand the frustration many international students and skilled workers must be feeling at this point, I mean, I am utterly frustrated!

🇦🇺I have been so excited to finally be reporting great news to all of you, and I know how much excitement and relief was washed over everyone last week with the announcement of the borders opening on Dec 1st. And...this is exactly why I bring an update every single week. While it may sometimes seem repetitive, things are always changing, constantly and consistently. And, a huge part of doing these episodes is to ensure you have ALL of the up-to-date information. So for today’s episode, we’re looking at the most recent developments regarding the re-opening of Australia’s international borders for students and skilled workers.

📣FANTASTIC NEWS!!!

🇦🇺The Australian government has blown the entire global population away this week (just yesterday in fact) with the announcement they will be lifting the international travel ban COMPLETELY!

🇦🇺Yep...we were all hanging on for it to happen, but with recent announcements of student arrival plans, no one expected it to happen this week!

🤩What an exciting day this is.

👉So here is what we know so far:

• Over 200,000 international students can now return to Australia from next month. And in even better news...they can return without an exemption. Prime Minister Scott Morrison formally announced this on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021.
• The country has reached over 85% double-dose vaccination rates for adults aged over 16, which means we can now push to the final phase of its reopening plan and are one step closer to a pre-covid19 level of normality.
• Skilled migrants and refugees who are eligible will begin returning to Australia next month, from as early as Dec. 1. The Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison made the announcement on Monday, adding temporary working holiday visa holders and provisional family holiday visa holders will also be welcome from 1 December. SAY WHAT!!! This is massive news just in time for the Australian summer holidays

Without impeccable time management skills and without being extremely organised, an elite student-athlete will find it difficult to succeed at the level they want to succeed.
