    I want to talk about how to become obsessed with your goals.

    Why Should We Become Obsessed With Our Goals?

    It might sound a little intense, but Grant Cardone puts it best: "I suggest that you become obsessed about the things you want. Otherwise, you're going to spend a lifetime making up excuses as to why you didn’t get the life that you wanted." Essentially, you either become obsessed with your goals and move forward in the life you want, or you'll dwell on excuses for why you didn't live the life you desire

    PROBLEM. You say you want something…but your actions…

    According to Robert Kiyosaki, "For many people, the power of their excuse is more powerful than their dreams." Life is coming at you full speed, and the challenges, problems, and excuses we face can often seem bigger than our dreams.

    Therefore, you must create reasons and goals that are bigger than your obstacles. Harv Eker summarizes it well: "You can have reasons, or you can have results. You can't have both."

    Making Your Goals a Must

    Robert Stuberg, a mentor of mine, often talks about how the real solution to creating an obsession with your goals is to make them a must. To live the life you dream of and achieve the goals you set, you must prioritize them above everything else.

    So, how do we do this? How do we make our priorities non-negotiable?

    Steps to Become Obsessed with Your Goals

    1. Be Specific The biggest challenge most of us face is not knowing exactly what we want. It's super important to be very specific about your desires. Do you want more money? A better life? Improved relationships? A nicer car? What exactly do you want? What type of freedom with your time do you desire? Be clear about the specifics of your goals; specificity is the first step to achieving them

    2. Make Commitments Once you know exactly what you want, you gotta commit to achieving it. You have to be ready to sacrifice something in order to get it. If you're not specific about what you want or the sacrifices you're willing to make, you won't get any closer to becoming obsessed with your goals.

    3. Create Time in Your Day Allocate specific time every day to focus and concentrate on your goals. This daily focus is crucial because it helps you continually visualize your goals

    4. Visualization The mind works in mysterious ways. The clearer and more real your goals become in your mind, the more doable they seem. Spend time every day visualizing your goals. The clearer you are about what you want, the more real it feels, and the more you want it. This visualization helps you become obsessed with your goals.

    5. Daily Rituals Establish daily rituals that remind you of your goals. This can be as simple as looking at your goals, writing them down every day, or repeating specific affirmations like "I am going to be successful." Consistency in these rituals reinforces your goals and helps your subconscious mind work towards achieving the

    6. Be Relentless and Never Give Up Relentlessly pursue your goals. Never give up. The more you pursue your goals every day, the more obsessed and focused you become on achieving them. RESOLVE

    7. Don't Settle One of the biggest pitfalls is settling for less. As you encounter challenges and roadblocks, it's easy to think about settling. However, settling is the enemy of greatness. Don't settle for anything less than what you truly want in your life

    If you these steps, you will become obsessed with your goals, and as a result, you will get what you want.

    Welcome back to The Daily Mastermind. This Monday morning, I want to dive into a topic that aligns perfectly with the start of a new week: Mindset. As a firm believer in the power of mindset, I find Mondays the perfect time to recalibrate and set our intentions for the days ahead. Today, we’re going to talk about how you can begin living your destiny right now. If you’ve been following along, you know that we've been discussing various lessons from one of my mentors, Robert Stuberg, and his program called "Creating Your Ultimate Destiny." This program outlines 12 specific steps or resources on how to create your ultimate destiny. The Quote of the Day Before we get into the nitty-gritty, let’s start with the quote of the day. Denzel Washington said, "If you don't fail, you're not even trying." I believe this quote is incredibly powerful because it inspires us to take action, regardless of the outcome. Often, we find ourselves overthinking our goals and desires without taking the necessary steps to achieve them. Failure is not the enemy; inaction is. So, What Is Your Ultimate Destiny? Last Monday, we talked about the concept of destiny and how it’s essentially what you want it to be. Your destiny is shaped by your beliefs, and these beliefs are formed through your life experiences. While you can't always control the events in your life, you can control the meaning you assign to them. Ultimately your thoughts and beliefs shape your experiences. Why You Shouldn't Pursue Happiness One key takeaway from last week is that you shouldn’t chase happiness directly. Instead, pursue your destiny by becoming the person you want to be, achieving the results you aspire to, and contributing to the well-being of others. True happiness comes as a byproduct of living your destiny. Living Your Destiny Now Let’s move forward to today’s focus: How do you start living your destiny now? It all comes down to your decisions. St. Thomas Aquinas once said: Three things are necessary for the salvation of a man: To know what he ought to believe, to know what he ought to desire, and to know what he ought to do. This quote is a great Segway into our topic. Your decisions will enable you to live your destiny in the present moment. Here are four simple steps to help you define and act on your destiny: Decide What You Desire in Your Life Determine what you want your life to be like. Instead of focusing on what you want to do or have, think about the kind of life you desire. Decide What Beliefs Will Lead You to Fulfill That Desire Your beliefs shape your reality. Decide which beliefs will lead you to attain your desired life, and consciously adopt them, even if you don't fully believe them yet. Decide What You Have to Do to Get What You Want Outline the actions you need to take to achieve your goals. Just Do It Commit to taking action, no excuses. Action is simple but requires unwavering commitment. Challenges While Living Your Destiny While the steps are straightforward, challenges will arise. Here are a few you might encounter: Feeling Like Something is Missing You might feel there’s something missing in your life. This could be a relationship, an opportunity, or even a sense of security. These feelings can make you focus on what you lack rather than what you can achieve. Doubting Possibility Maybe you know what you want but don’t believe it’s possible. This lack of faith can stop you from taking action. The key is to believe in your power and take action anyway. Keep Moving Forward It’s important not to get complacent. Happiness and destiny are ongoing journeys, not destinations. Focus on doing what you love daily. Engage in activities aligned with your unique talents and passions. Reflect and Plan Think about experiences in hindsight that you would have handled differently. Use these reflections to better align your daily actions with your ultimate destiny. Create a Vision Board Brainstorm ways to integrate the things you love into your daily life. This can involve creating a vision board to visualize your goals and dreams. A Weekly Challenge for You This week, I challenge you to identify what you truly want in life and find ways to incorporate those desires into your daily routine. How can you add more fun and passion into your day to day activities? Whatever it is, take action now. Thank you for joining me today.     Embracing Personal Responsibility

    Over the past 25 years, I have developed the 12 Prosperity Pillars, principles I believe are essential for achieving true success. One of the most challenging yet crucial pillars is "I take personal responsibility." Many people struggle with this concept, but it is fundamental to creating the life you truly desire.

    Taking responsibility means recognizing that everything you've accomplished in life is a result of your actions. This realization is empowering because it puts you in control of your destiny. Taking responsibility does not involve assigning blame but rather positioning yourself as the architect of your life.

    A Message from Darren Hardy

    Today, I want to share an enlightening message from Darren Hardy. His perspective on personal responsibility is powerful and can provide you with the insight needed to take control of your life.

    The Central Philosophy

    "You are the center of your universe. The rest of the world reacts and responds to you." This philosophy changed Darren's life when he encountered it at 18 during a seminar. The lecturer's lesson was clear: the shared percentage of making any relationship work is not 50-50 or even 80-20, but 100-0. Only by taking full responsibility for the betterment of relationships will they truly work.

    This idea extends beyond relationships to every aspect of life. Darren emphasizes that we are responsible for everything in our lives, whether directly caused by our actions or by our reactions to external events. This understanding is liberating because it shifts our focus to what we can control – our responses and personal growth.

    Reflecting on Life Outcomes

    Darren illustrates that the various aspects of our lives are reflections of ourselves. Our relationships, bank accounts, and health mirror our internal state. For instance, people with fluctuating financial situations often lack the personal development needed to maintain wealth. The same applies to health – true and lasting change comes from within.

    Jim Rohn once said, "Your income seldom exceeds one's level of personal development." This highlights the importance of focusing on personal growth to improve other areas of life. Money, health, and success will always revert to the level of your personal development.

    The Journey of Self-Improvement

    One of the most inspiring messages Darren shares is that all external improvements come from internal growth. Whether it's achieving financial stability or better health, the focus should always be on improving oneself. Personal development is the key to unlocking and sustaining success in every area of life.

    Money and Personal Growth

    Using the example of lottery winners, Darren explains why many people who suddenly acquire immense wealth often lose it quickly. Our financial status is a reflection of our personal development. Money will always "meet you where you're at." To sustainably grow wealth, one must develop the stewardship, attitudes, behaviors, and habits to manage it effectively.

    Health as a Reflection

    Similarly, health issues often stem from internal struggles rather than external conditions. Many people attempt to resolve health problems by focusing on symptoms rather than addressing the underlying causes. Personal development plays a significant role here as well, with health often being a visible manifestation of one's internal state.

    The Power Lies Within You

    Taking personal responsibility is a powerful concept that can drastically change your life. Realizing that you are the source of your outcomes provides a profound sense of empowerment. Focus on personal development, and watch as every aspect of your life improves. It's never too late to start living the life you were meant to live.

    I'm going to spend today (liek most mondays) talking about your mindset.

    Over the next 12 weeks (on mondays) I'm going to take you through a program called "Creating Your Ultimate Destiny," written by my mentor by Robert Stueberg. I found a lot of value in this program while building my education company, and I think you will get a lot too.

    Setting Up for Success

    On Mondays, we focus on mindset. A strong mindset is fundamental for prosperity throughout the week. We'll also explore topics such as money, body, finance, and business. Your mindset dictates your actions, thoughts, and feelings, making it crucial to your success.

    The First Step: Beliefs

    Let's kick off this 12-week journey with the foundational element: Beliefs. One pivotal belief you need to embrace is that you are powerful. Each of us has unique talents and strengths, but the real challenge lies in accessing and harnessing this power within. Believing in your innate power is critical for creating and shaping your life.

    As Napoleon Hill once said, "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve." Your beliefs shape your experiences and perception of life. Ask yourself: Do you believe that life happens to you or for you? The meaning you assign to events shapes your reality. By adopting the belief that you can influence and control the meaning of events in your life, you empower yourself to manifest your dreams.

    Beliefs Shape Happiness

    Happiness, too, stems from your beliefs. As T. Harv Eker highlighted, people often chase fruits (material success) instead of nurturing roots (core beliefs). Happiness is about appreciating what you have rather than having what you want. It is a decision, and when you choose happiness, you pivot your focus towards gratitude and fulfillment.

    The Journey of Happiness

    Happiness isn't a destination; it's a journey. By focusing on gratitude and recognizing your unique talents, you create a fulfilling life. The key to ultimate destiny is not in pursuing happiness but rather pursuing your destiny. Happiness follows when you become the person you want to be, achieve your personal goals, and contribute to others' well-being.

    Define Your Destiny

    Reflect on your concept of destiny and write a new definition for it. What do you want to create for yourself? What conditions are required for you to be happy? Understand that you have the power to choose and control these conditions.

    Conclusion

    Beliefs are the cornerstone of creating your ultimate destiny. They shape your experience and happiness. As we continue this journey, aim to redefine your destiny, focusing on your beliefs and the actions that align with your goals.

    Today, I want to delve into a topic that is essential for anyone aspiring to maximize their potential and overcome obstacles in their personal and professional lives. It's time to evaluate whether you're getting the results you truly desire. And if not, let's figure out why that might be and how you can change it.

    Are You Getting the Results You Want?

    Let's start by asking a fundamental question: Are you getting the results that you want in your life? If not, why not? What are you looking for, and how are you going about achieving it? Where are you spending your time? These questions are pivotal because there are certainly times in life when you may feel stuck or like you're making progress, but not moving toward your ultimate destination.

    The Importance of Reflection

    When you find yourself in these cycles, it’s crucial to step back and self-reflect. Ask yourself more profound questions to understand the root cause of your feelings of stagnation. Based on my experience and teachings from some of my mentors, if you’re not making the progress you're capable of, it often boils down to one of five areas in your life.

    Introducing the PEARL Constellation

    One of my mentors, Robert Stuberg, developed a concept known as the PEARL Constellation, an acronym for five core areas of life that you should evaluate:

    1. Philosophy: How You Think
    2. Emotions: How You Feel
    3. Activity: How You Work
    4. Results: How You Measure
    5. Lifestyle: How You Live

    Let's break down each of these areas.

    Philosophy: How You Think

    Your philosophy is essentially the set of beliefs and thought patterns that guide your actions. It’s like the sail on a sailboat; it determines your direction regardless of the wind's direction. Align your philosophy correctly, and external circumstances will have minimal negative impact on your path.

    Emotions: How You Feel

    Emotions play a significant role in your daily life and overall satisfaction. They stem from your core values and needs, such as certainty, significance, connection, growth, and contribution. Assessing whether your values are aligning with your actions can help you better manage your emotional state.

    Activity: How You Work

    Evaluate whether you are working hard enough and, more importantly, if you are focusing on the right tasks. This is where the concept of working in your zone of excellence and passion comes into play. Are you aligning your efforts with your unique talents and what you're enthusiastic about?

    Results: How You Measure

    It's essential to measure your progress to ensure you're moving in the right direction. Measurement can be as simple as tracking your progress in various areas like mind, body, finances, business, lifestyle, and relationships. Identifying metrics for these areas will give you a clearer sense of achievement.

    Lifestyle: How You Live

    Finally, your lifestyle reflects your quality of life while you’re pursuing your goals and dreams. It’s possible to be content with your current resources and circumstances while striving for more. Happiness and satisfaction are often more about perspective than possessions.

    Action Steps

    This week, I encourage you to step back and take a hard look at these five core areas. Ask yourself where you need to focus more and which changes might help you improve. Consider this your PEARL constellation—a guideline for understanding and optimizing the different facets of your life.

    • Limit phone and social media usage
    • Bulk tasks and time block for efficiency

    Prioritize Challenges

    • Identify the most important task each evening
    • Tackle it first thing in the morning
    Spiritual Energy

    Work in Your Sweet Spot

    • Identify activities you're excellent at and passionate about
    • Spend time on things that give you joy and make you lose track of time

    Live by Your Core Values

    • Allocate time to activities that align with your core values
    • Understand that your purpose, passion, and priorities evolve over time

    Spiritual energy fuels your passion and purpose. By aligning your activities with your core values and focusing on what you love, you can increase your overall energy.

    Throughout the week, think about how you can expand your energy. Remember, while time is finite, energy is not.
