    Deborah Netolicky talks with Associate Professor Glenn Savage about education policy and practice, and the future of schooling. Glenn is a policy sociologist, leading researcher and public commentator on education policy and reform. He is Associate Professor of Education Futures in the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne and author of the book ‘The Quest for Revolution in Australian Schooling Policy’. Glenn has extensive large-scale research experience, including being awarded three Australian Research Council projects as Lead Investigator, including a current ARC Discovery Grant that is examining ways to improve collaboration and co-design between government agencies in the development of national schooling reforms.     Deborah Netolicky talks with Professor Yong Zhao about teaching, curriculum, schooling, educational leadership, and schools within schools. Yong is a Foundation Distinguished Professor in the School of Education at the University of Kansas and a professor in Educational Leadership at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education in Australia. He previously served as the Presidential Chair, Associate Dean, and Director of the Institute for Global and Online Education in the College of Education, University of Oregon, where he was also a Professor in the Department of Educational Measurement, Policy, and Leadership. Prior to Oregon, Yong Zhao was University Distinguished Professor at the College of Education, Michigan State University, where he also served as the founding director of the Center for Teaching and Technology, executive director of the Confucius Institute, as well as the US-China Center for Research on Educational Excellence. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Education and a fellow of the International Academy of Education. Yong has received numerous awards for his work on the implications of globalisation and technology on education. He has published over 100 articles and 30 books. Christine a Senior Lecturer in Educational Leadership, and postgraduate coordinator of the Master of Education Programs at the University of Sydney. Christine’s research is centred in the practices of educational leadership with a focus on leading pedagogy in schools and systems. Christine is passionate about supporting educators to connect theory, philosophy, and practice for purposeful leading in her teaching, research, and service to the education community. She works with school and system leaders at all levels on research and professional learning partnerships that seek to understand more about leading together. Christine brings almost 30 years of educational leadership and research experience in the government and the non-government sector in both Australia and the UK at early childhood, primary, secondary, and tertiary level to her work. She has over a decade of leadership experience in schools, and has held previous appointments as head of school, deputy head and director of curriculum.
