The FAN Morning Show goes into its final hour of the week with Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning talking some more puck. They continue to look at the back-to-back games the Maple Leafs have tonight and tomorrow against a couple of Atlantic division foes. B&B debate who will or should start in between the pipes for Toronto in each game and what lineup shuffle we can expect if Auston Matthews remains out. The hosting pair welcome on host of the Dropping the Gloves podcast, John Scott. They get the former NHLer's take on the news this week that the NCAA would lift its eligibility ban in allowing CHL players to compete at US colleges and what the impact of it could be. They also get the 2016 NHL All-Star MVP’s thoughts on the Leafs and why the rebuild in Detroit with the Red Wings hasn’t gone well with Stevie Yzerman. In the final block of the week, the morning duo are joined by Sports Emmy award winner, host on MLB Network and Prime Monday Night Hockey, Adnan Virk (25:50). After some insight on what its like to be part of the Prime crew with Mark Messier, the trio turn their attention to baseball and the pursuit to land this year’s free agency trophy in Juan Soto. They talk about how it’ll most likely come down to the Yankees and Mets; how Steve Cohen will spend anything to win. The trio also discuss how it’ll be a huge malfunction for the Blue Jays to go into next season without having extended Vlad or Bo.
