But is the ACC grant of rights enough of a financial deterrent to glue the Atlantic coast together for a while? Also, the Carolina Panthers have a brand new quarterback, but how heated will the battle for QB1 actually be in Spartanburg? Locally, high school football is a matter of weeks away and the fire is white-hot underneath the AC Reynolds Rockets, plus the Asheville-Buncombe Regional Sports Commission is under new leadership.
