The Journey to Creativity

著者: Vanessa Castro
  • サマリー

  • This is a passionate diary of a journey that involves a lot of ups and downs. Only one thing is certain: it pays off thousandfold. Are you indecisive whether you can or cannot write that book? Sing that song? Create that business idea? I am here to tell you that the only one saying "no" to your amazing ideas is YOU. And guess what: the only one who can set you free, is also YOU. This journey may take you far into your own depths to dig out the source of those self imposed blocks. You can dig them out and cast them off if you desire... In TJTC Podcast I share open-heartedly with you my own process of creative recovery. My only desire is to INSPIRE you to throw yourself into the cold waters - just like I did. You will know about my biggest struggles. My greatest fears. My deepest joys. Man, I truly opened my heart here. Amazing local artists have also felt inspired and have come to my show to share their passions, personal experiences, life struggles, and all that involves a fiery, full-on creative life. It is not easy - nobody said it was. But it is SO worth it. What are you waiting for? Jump in!

    2020/11/08

Bethel is a spoken word artist, mad scientist, and powerful community builder and activist in the city of Calgary, Alberta. In this episode we dive into the theme of creating spaces for representation, especially for young people, and for the development of the arts

This episode was recorded in November 2019. A lot has changed in a year. It has never been SO important to stay connected and move towards the creation and nurturance of community beyond the apparent limitations that we see around us.

Bethel's projects have evolved during this year, she can tell you more herself. Get in touch. This woman does not let the shifting world stop her - she shifts with it like a marvelous creative soul does in the infiniteness of our reality.

  • TJTC Ep 22 with Zhe the Free - "Saying Yes, Trusting and Flowing"
    2020/10/18

"Sometimes things take a long time to come to fruition", said Zoe at the beginning of this episode, recorded on November 12th 2019, the day of releasing her single BOUNCE. Who would have thought that almost a year after she would be releasing her first EP "The Love EP" !!! And synchronistically, her episode on TJTC is now coming out as well <3!!

We talk about being a strong and impactful presence while also being gentle and loving to generate change around us. We share what makes our hearts bounce, what creativity does for us, and also we share some experiences around being a woman in environments that challenge us.

Creativity just guides the way, and all we have to do is follow. Trust, play, flow, and say yes. Just say yes.

It's so blessed to have this conversation recorded, Zoe is honestly a huge friend to me, a woman that has made a lasting impact in my life by being real and supportive in key moments of life. I am deeply grateful for her presence in my world.

Grab your hot chocolate, chai tea, or your preferred dark roast and get cozy with us. I'm so excited you are here. See you on the other side!
