In this episode, I dive into the power of choosing connection and joy over daily stressors and "triggers." Inspired by a recent visit to my parents' home, I reflect on how our family chose to set aside the usual to-do list and simply sit, laugh, and reconnect. This quality time served as a reminder of how essential it is to notice and create “glimmers” in our lives—those small moments of happiness, joy, and gratitude.
I share how it’s easy to spot negative triggers throughout the day, but how often do we make an effort to see the positive glimmers that warm our souls? From a stranger's kindness to moments of laughter with family, these glimmers are there if we choose to look for them.
I also reflect on how, in spaces like the grocery store, we might unintentionally be someone else's trigger, perhaps by being in a hurry or not showing patience. This episode challenges me—and hopefully, you too—to become the glimmer in someone else’s day, making intentional efforts to spread positivity and kindness.
