In this Season Finale Session, I had the privilege of interviewing another friend of mine. Shaqwane Yates. A fellow screenplay writer, director, and actor when he needs to be. He is also the founder & CEO of Yates House, his own independent film production company. Similar to me, Shaqwane has served on many sets functioning in different positions, such as PA.

We talked about black filmmaking, the art of storytelling, and how we can use our life and circumstances to shape and create a story. We discussed the duties of a production assistant, set life, And Lastly, the beauty of working with family and friends.

In this Semi Finale Session, I had the liberty and pleasure of interview a long time friend of mine named Chelsea Burrus, who runs a modeling agency boot camp, helping models step in to the industry and growing their image, brand and professionalism. We went over some of the basics of set/on shoot ettique, the misconceptions people think about modeling, TFP and what it is, how to branch out to bigger and brighter opportunities, as well as how to transition in to film.

In this session, I had the opportunity to interview Jose R. Casado, an award-winning writer, producer, director and editor who has been editing television for over 20 years. Jose is a Sundance Institute Fellow and semifinalist in the 2020 Academy Nicholls Fellowships in screenwriting. Lastly, his feature-length screenplay, Sodus Point was also featured at the Austin Film Festival.

In this session, I had the chance to interview Kevin Preko, an amazing actor, music artist, story writer and photographer. We lightly touched on the philosophy of acting, expression and what it means to be a creative.

In this session, I have the opportunity and pleasure of interviewing Eric Richardson Hagan, a filmmaker, Director & writer from New York. We spoke about how important it is to follow through on your vision and to be discouraged to craft and write the stories that you want to see and tell. Sometimes, you will have people telling you things or giving suggestions on how to write or tell your stories. It's important to remember never to allow someone to alter or dull down your vision in order to make themselves feel better. This is your story, you're in charge and only you can tell it how it needs to be told.

In this session, I have the opportunity and pleasure of interviewing Vicki Speegle. An independent filmmaker and writer. We talked about the importance of finding your people, individuals who share the same dream & Goal as you. And most importantly, collaborating with people who will turn your weaknesses into strengths.

In this session, I had the opportunity and pleasure of interviewing a friend of mine named Violyt Martin. A film PA & model. We have a very interesting conversation on film set etiquette, the many responsibilities of a PA and what someone new, could expect coming into the industry to make a film.
