• Desire - When Did We Decide to Settle?
    2022/07/03

When did you decide to settle?

What events, beliefs, choices led to you coasting?

What changed from those excitable years when the world was full of endless opportunities, when anything was possible?

I remember that burst of excitement of possibilities hit me at the age of 16, there was a whole world out there waiting for me... I remember exactly where I was and who I was with when that realisation and excitement hit me. I know then I could have and do anything...

This excitement carried through into my marriage, and I was well into my mid-thirties before life got serious and I felt it was time to grow up.  Trying to have a baby was a tough time for us, we had a quite a few miscarriages and when it finally happened it was an incredible time, but it changed everything; my belief system of growing up stopped me thinking in a limitless way and as a result I coasted and settled into a routine that looking back didn’t serve me or those around me.

In this episode I talk about why you might find yourself settling, and why doing so can stifle your desire for more and lower your expectations. I’ll get you thinking about your own life goals, and why it’s so important to always keep yourself aligned to your desires.

This episode is about knowing what you want and never settling for a life you’re not deeply satisfied with.

Check out this week’s episode where I’ll be discussing:

    01:08 – my story

04:53 – your lack of desire and feeling stuck

08:07 – are you living the life you want?

  • Falling out of Love with Your Business
    2022/06/19

Before that critical pivot in our business, we hit that liminal space of not quite an ending to our existing business or the start of something new, you’re on the edge of both.

Firstly congratulations, you’re about to upgrade your life and business in way that will knock your socks off, but for now this place feels uncomfortable, I totally get it...

I’ve personally fallen out of love with my own business many times. Every time I came out the other side a better and happier person, with a clearer version and higher profit hikes, but it’s that messy middle that feels so hard to navigate and that lack of direction that can really have us second guessing about ourselves, our next steps and if it’s all worth it.

I want to reassure you it totally is.

If you’re going through that stage in your business, this episode is for you, where I’ll be discussing:

00:55 – 15 years of evolving in my business

5:00 – creating a bridge from where you are now to where you want to be

7:35 – Embracing change and realignment

If this speaks to you, send me a DM and let me know what’s going on for you. And DM me over on IG at @wearehome.co and let me know how this landed with you.

  • Being Self-led in Your Business
    2022/06/06

Have you lost the art of thinking for yourself in your business?

Do you look to your coach for all the answers?

We leave our jobs to become self-led; to feel free and create from a desire to do what we want to do, yet so many business owners forget to trust themselves and instead rely on their coaches to make decisions for them.

So, when was the last time you trusted your own advice, based on a feeling?

In this episode, I discuss the importance of being self-led, knowing what you want, crafting and creating from within, and tapping into your intuition to gain access to understanding your next move.

  • Embracing the Messy Middle
    2022/03/29

What can you offer right now that feels true and good within your business?

This is a question I had to ask myself when I was in that sticky in-between stage of no longer feeling aligned in my business, but unsure of my next steps and it felt uncomfortable!

But being in the messy middle doesn’t mean you need to press pause in your business. We can often throw the baby out of the bathwater so to speak when we’re redesigning our business,  but we don’t need to burn the whole damn thing down.

In this week’s episode, I share my messy middle, and talk about the power of bridging from the old to new and how we can still sell from a place of integrity.

And how facing into the lack of love in your business takes real courage is actually something that should be celebrated as you shed the old and step into the new.

Check out this week’s episode where I’ll be discussing:

(1:20) Redesigning your business and the feelings it brings up

    (03:50) My messy middle

(08:06) Embracing this stage and seeing it as a success.

If this speaks to you, send me a DM and let me know what’s going on for you. Looking back on my messy middle I wish I had talked about how I felt more and gained the right support.

  • Real engagement with Cassidy Dickens
    2022/03/21

Whether you’re writing copy for your website, emails or a full-on ad campaign, to create REAL engagement your words need to be your own. However, that doesn’t mean you have to write them.

Working with a copywriter is a powerful process, and on this week’s episode I talk to launch copywriter Cassidy Dickens about how she’s able to write copy for her clients while honouring their unique tone of voice and brand messaging, and her framework to writing authentic copy that sells in a non-sleazy way.

Cassidy also opens up about her own uncomfortable journey from service provider to soulful entrepreneur, injected all of her into her brand and how, when we see ourselves without our mask, we step into a new version or ourselves.

We muse about surrendering to that in-between stage in our business, where there’s more questions than answers and we’re not ready for action, to emerging out of the unknown to aligned action, that feels 100% right.

  • Creating Your Rules by Knowing Your Values
    2022/03/14

What unnegotiable rules have you created in your business?

Because you get to decide how you run your business.

Ever wondered why that sales system your coach told you to implement felt off?

Or why you turned that potential client down when you needed the cash?

It all starts with understanding your values.

And I don’t mean those three words that sit on someone’s website looking pretty telling people what they care about.

Understanding your values isn't a tick box exercise it's about understanding the person you are and how you want to live.

In this episode, I’m sharing with you how you can uncover your values and why they should never be authenticity and integrity 🤦‍♀️

I've seen huge shifts in my clients when we've uncovered their values, they’ve had that a-ha moment that’s helped them totally reshaped their businesses.

When we understand ourselves at our very core, it helps us with all sorts of issues we might be experiencing. ‘Not feeling good enough', ‘Imposter Syndrome’, ‘Comparisonitis’ to name a few, because when we know who we are we can feel secure in making our own decisions with an understanding of why we choose to live that way. And that will give you unshakable confidence to stay in your own lane, and create your own rules. 🎉

Check out this week’s episode where I’ll be discussing:

(01:17) Understanding what are your values rather than someone else’s

(03:42) How you uncover your unique values

(09:47) Identifying your most fulfilled and satisfied moments

(11:36) Translating your values into rules to live by
