He is an international on hypertension, healthcare disparities, diabetes, obesity,heart failures and sudden cardiac death. He was honored by the American Heart Association with their LifeSaver Award.

    Additionally... he is a renowned jazz trumpeter, who has worked or learned from some of the jazz icons of all time. It is a MARVELOUS episode!!!
