Are these interpretations sound, or are they a smokescreen for bias? We'll examine key verses, including Genesis 1:27 (“male and female he created them”), Deuteronomy 22:5 (on cross-dressing), and Psalm 139 (“fearfully and wonderfully made”), and analyze them through the lens of historical context, biblical scholarship, and logical consistency. Join us as we question whether these ancient texts, written thousands of years ago, can be fairly applied to modern discussions about gender identity. We'll explore contradictions, the problem of cherry-picking scripture, and how these same arguments echo historical attempts to justify other forms of discrimination.
