  • Pro's and Con's of private practice
    2024/07/04

    Hello friends!!

Welcome back for some Moroccan spice seasoned pro's and con's!!

Some exciting news since we last caught up friends............We have launched our course:
Dream. Build. Thrive. Design your dream private practice!!
Everything you need to build your very own private practice.
Get in before midnight on Sunday the 7th for a jam-packed early bird bundle deal!!

Here is our list of pro’s and con’s after 4 years of running a private practice:

    Pros:
1.Freedom – choice and control around the decisions you make in and out of the therapy chair! From how you work with clients to your schedule and hours. Opportunity to grow.
2.Autonomy around leave, holidays. Autonomy over where and what you give your time and resources to. Caseload autonomy.
3.Earning potential and financial freedom – what you put in is what you get out. Goodbye glass ceiling!!
4.You learn to respect your time. You learn your value. You grow in confidence, and you value your capacity SO much because you see where it’s going.
5.Helps you internalise your success and overcome imposterism.
6.Flexibility – everyday can look a little different!
7.Creativity – dipping your toes into different and fun area’s of business outside the clinical role.

    Cons
1.Ebbs and flows of busy periods and abundance and periods of slower times (feast and famine) In our first year in PP we did not account for ebbs and flows, and this was a stressful time!
2.Pressure and responsibility –If anything goes’ wrong, it’s your mess to clean up.
    3.Isolation
4.Overwhelm – so many hats to wear, so many roles to juggle

We also go into how we combat the con's!

We hope you enjoy this episode!
