These days, you have to do a whole lot of spadework before you’re allowed to start something.
I mean, before you can make a change to your workout habits, you’re supposed to research everything ad nauseum, buy just the right gear, set up your schedule, fill the latest and greatest water bottle – whatever happened to “just trying it” with a little jog-around-the-block habit for 30 days?
Why all this “get your life together and THEN we’ll let you change it”?
You’re told you need to know what went wrong first, maybe do a little self-analysis on what in your past caused you to behave this way, set up a schedule for yourself (‘cause if you don’t try something, you’ll never know what the sticking point is!), work that self-discipline muscle, set up all the systems and planners…..
They’re practically telling you you have to DO the change first before they’re going to help you!
Not me - here’s why I take a stand against this.
You’ve got this!
