Hi, I am Cathy Jo Lang, and I am excited to welcome you to “The Unplanned Joyful Life” podcast Like many young women, I experienced an unplanned pregnancy when I was nineteen. I married my High-school Sweetheart, and we had our first child just 6 months later. When I found out that I was pregnant, I knew immediately, that I was blessed to have this new life inside me. And, I was also very hopeful for a happy future. There were challenges along the way, as I adapted to my new role as mom and wife. But, despite the hardships, I was able to grow in strength, faith and hope. This helped me to care for myself and my family to the best of my ability. And, I became a mom and wife that I could be proud of. The life path I was on, prior to pregnancy, would be forever changed. But, it was in choosing marriage and motherhood, that God brought the most abundance into mine. When working toward goals such as a college education and career, my family became a source of inspiration and support. And, it was my love for them that motivated me the most.
