There Is Such A Thing As Good Grieving And Busy Moms Can Do It

  • サマリー

  • Oh Marvelous Mom, Loss is inevitable, whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a dream, a job, or even a relationship. But many of us don't know how to grieve or give ourselves permission to do so. 💔 Join Mom Mentor Guest Laurie Goddu as we explore the journey of moving through grief healthily and why it’s crucial for our emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Laurie is an ordained minister, and has been trained in a wide variety of prayer models to aid her in her ministry to those who are suffering from trauma and dissociation. She has trained clinicians and laypeople, and has published a manual to help understand and recognize dissociation. She is also a Masters Splankna practitioner, a healing modality using prayer and muscle testing to help people identify and release the pain of trauma alongside forgiveness. Laurie opens up and shares her own experiences with grief and offers practical tips for busy moms on how to access their emotions, find healing, and navigate this challenging process. 🛁 From taking a few minutes to cry in the shower, 🤗 finding or creating a supportive community, to 😢 Letting the tears fall freely We discuss actionable steps that make grieving manageable, even when life feels overwhelming. In this episode, you will also walk away with a profound understanding of why grief is important to walk through (although no one wants to) and how to help your children grieve in a restorative way. Whether you’re dealing with fresh grief or something long buried, this episode is for you. 🙏 Let’s walk this path together, learning to seek God’s presence and comfort in the midst of our sorrow.
