  • WHAT WAS I THINKING?: I Am Not Enough
    2025/07/06

Apart from God we are ____________ enough.

[Romans 3:9-12] Well then, should we conclude that we Jews are better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin. [10] As the Scriptures say, "No one is righteous--not even one. [11] No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. [12] All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one."

The world says you are not ________ enough.

[Romans 8:1-2] So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. [2] And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

You don’t have to ____________ for what Jesus already ____________.

[Ephesians 2:9-10] Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. [10] For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

    God calls you His ______________________.

[Psalm 139:13-17] You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. [14] Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous--how well I know it. [15] You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. [16] You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. [17] How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!

The key to change isn’t trying ________________, it’s believing ______________________.

[Colossians 3:9-10] Don't lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. [10] Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

We have to replace the world's ____________ with God’s ____________.

  • Baggage Check (December 31, 2017) | Judah Thomas
    2025/07/04

[Psalm 38:3-4] Because of your anger, my whole body is sick; my health is broken because of my sins. [4] My guilt overwhelms me—it is a burden too heavy to bear. You can't define your _________ ___________ by what other people think of you. When you don't deal with your baggage, you ___________ it on to others. [Hebrews 12:1-2] Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. [2] We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. God wants to ___________ your mind. [Romans 12:2 NIV] Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. God's _____________ will set you free. [Ephesians 4:22-24] throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. [23] Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. [24] Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. We need to replace the _______________ of the evil one with the ____________ of God. God will ___________ what is lost. [Psalm 71:20] You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. God specializes in finding what was ____________ and restoring what was ______________. Lay down your baggage at the ____________ of the _________________. [Matthew 11:28] Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Don't bring any baggage with you into the _____ ________.

  • INVISIBLE PEOPLE: He Showed Up | Judah Thomas
    2025/06/29

We are all called to ________________ __________.

[2 Timothy 1:15 ESV] You are aware that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.

A good friend shows up in the _________________ _________________.

[2 Timothy 1:16-17 ESV] May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains, [17] but when he arrived in Rome he searched for me earnestly and found me--

God's love shows up through ________________ people.

[Hebrews 10:33-35] Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things. [34] You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever. [35] So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!

Showing up won't make ________________, but it will ________________ lives.

    A loyal friend is ____________________.

[Proverbs 25:13] Trustworthy messengers refresh like snow in summer. They revive the spirit of their employer.

Sometimes just being ________________ makes all the difference.

[2 Timothy 1:18 ESV] may the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day!--and you well know all the service he rendered at Ephesus.

God sees when you serve in the ________________.
