  • Words of Wisdom from an Autism Mom: Part 2

    Wouldn’t it be awesome to get real life advice from a parenting expert? In our final episode for season 3, we are honored to discuss autism parenting with philanthropist, mom, business leader, and speaker Dayna Hoff. Since 2003, Dayna has positively impacted the lives of countless families in Northern and Southern California through her non-profit organization, Autism Tree Project Foundation (https://www.autismtreeproject.org/).     Dayna Hoff has transformed the autism community in San Diego and the Bay Area as Founder and Volunteer Executive Director of Autism Tree Project Foundation (ATPF). ATPF, which Dayna founded with her husband, Todd, when their son was diagnosed with autism, is the only autism foundation that focuses on combining Research, Early Intervention and Programming. ATPF provides over 20 free programs and has invested $3.2 million back into the community. In 2015, Dayna launched the Ignite Every Child Movement through the ATPF Early Intervention Preschool Screening Program. Since 2006, ATPF has provided screenings to more than 20,600 preschoolers and in April 2018, ATPF held its 2nd Ignite Every Child 1,000-person Luncheon.

    Dayna is a passionate and innovative leader who is a key contributor to expanding Neurodiversity on a global scale. Dayna has been married to her husband Todd for 25 years, and together, they are the proud parents of a 2021 George Washington University Graduate.

Her nonprofit journey led her into authoring a children's book to support kids who lost homes in a fire in her hometown. Her book, Where's My House? is a bestseller in 4 categories on Amazon with 100% of the book proceeds going toward kids who lost homes in the Central California Creek Fire.
