Even now, it continues to be the most addictive of the podcast genres, bringing all the mystery, drama, and primal fear of a Law & Order episode directly into our ears. How a Predator Finally Met Karma

A man from Airway Heights, described as extraordinarily foolish, fled when police arrived to confront him about a domestic violence incident. He tried to hide behind a tree, a tactic that failed thanks to a neighbor tipping off authorities.

His troubles only escalated after arrest—he attempted to remove his restraints while in handcuffs and gave infuriating statements to the police. After a brief stint in jail, he was released and quickly reunited with his girlfriend, continuing his reckless behavior and racking up more charges.

Ultimately, he was charged with burglary, unlawful imprisonment, malicious mischief, interfering with reporting domestic violence, resisting arrest, making a false statement, and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

The Moment She Realized She Killed Her Newborn

Mothers are often seen as protective angels who will do anything to protect their children, but in this case, she became her child's worst enemy. Officers were immediately dispatched to the location after receiving a 911 call about a mother contemplating murder. Viewer discretion is advised, as what you are about to see is not for the faint of heart. The children were trapped in a ticking time bomb, their home a pressure cooker ready to explode at any moment.

Despite the mother dropping subtle hints about her unraveling mental state, the warning signs were about to be tragically overlooked. Her isolation was another factor fueling her intense urge to commit murder. Listen closely to what she says. Officers thought it would be best for everyone if the mother was taken to the hospital for further evaluation, but it wasn’t going to be of much help.

She was discharged that day, and everything seemed fine for some time, until one day, 911 received a call from the mother again. The infant was no longer alive, and there were signs of brutality. Her older son was the only other witness to what had happened that day, hiding safely in his bedroom. However, the mother told the officer she didn’t know what had happened.

No amount of regret was going to bring her son back to life now. This officer had changed the baby’s diaper and looked after him just a few days ago. His death had truly shaken him to his core. The police tried to explain the incident to the father, who was equally shocked. The mother was charged with first-degree murder

  • Police Interrogation of Police Officer for the Murder of his Police Chief while on vacation

Police Interrogation of Police Officer for the Murder of his Police Chief while on vacation

A former Oklahoma officer has been found guilty of murdering his police chief during a conference in Florida

A former Oklahoma police officer was found guilty Wednesday in the death of his police chief while they attended a law enforcement conference in Pensacola, Florida, in 2019.

Michael Nealey was found guilty of second-degree murder by a Florida jury, according to CNN affiliate WEAR. Court records show his sentencing is scheduled for April 29.

CNN has reached out to Nealey's attorney for comment on the verdict but has not heard back.

Nealey was arrested a day after the body of Mannford Police Chief Lucky Miller was found in a hotel room in Pensacola in November, 2019.

Escambia County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about a fight at the hotel where Nealey and Miller were staying for the conference.

Prosecutors said during the trial that the medical examiner determined Miller was beaten and strangled or suffocated to death, WEAR reported.

Only two people were in that room. One of them is dead and one of them is on trial," said prosecutor Trey Myers during closing arguments, according to the station.

Extreme levels of intoxication were involved that night, prosecutors argued, and a forensic toxicologist testified that both men had blood alcohol concentration levels about four times the legal limit to drive, the affiliate reported.

"It's impossible to get inside the mind of a man who was here for a law enforcement conference who has had half a gallon of vodka to drink and understand his thoughts," added Myers, WEAR reported.

Nealey did not take the stand in his defense, the station reported. The trial began Monday with jury selection and lasted a day and a half before the jury returned a guilty verdict.

Miller, 44, was chief of police since 2007. He had a wife and three children.
