This week I’m sharing with you the top 5 things I do to walk into the week feeling in control of my business and not overwhelmed—even during the busiest times of year! I’m running a multi 6 figure biz over here and I have 6 kids. It’s a mad house. Actually not really. 😂 But it WOULD totally be if I didn’t do these things consistently: 1. I time block. Every single week, I sit down with my weekly time blocker and fill out the hours with my intentions! It’s like a budget for my time. This weekly habit is a non-negotiable for me. As a business owner and mom of 6, it’s how I remain intentional and proactive versus just responding to every single request for my attention or my time. 2. I prioritize what is most important. There are always more things on my task list than I have time to get done. ALWAYS. So then I just start making decisions. Is this a priority right now? Is there time available for this this week? And what to do if the answer is no. 3. I collaborate with other people and don’t try to do it all myself. As my responsibilities have expanded over the years, so have my delegation and collaboration skills. I do this in my personal life as well as in my business! 4. I get up early before anyone else in my house. My house is loud and busy almost all of the time—except this time early in the mornings before anyone gets up! So this is a practice I’ve had for years that generates my energy. 5. I surround myself with other high performers because iron sharpens iron. You’re going to become an average of the 5 people you spend the most time with, so I choose them wisely! You’ll hear today how my inner circle effects my life. Cheers to walking into 2024 with intention and purpose!! 🥂💫 Link to my Weekly Time Blocker: http://Brittneydhoward.com/timeblocker Link to horizontal clipboard I mentioned: https://amzn.to/3vbPazo Follow me on Instagram: @brittneydhoward Watch my trainings on Youtube: https://youtube.com/@brittneydhoward Follow me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brittney.howard.71 Check out the blog on my website: brittneyhoward.com
