あらすじ・解説
In this episode of LONGLINE we sit down again with Alice Spring’s based language worker Vanessa Farrelly from the Pertame Language Project. Christabel Swan and Geraldine Stewart also join in parts of the conversations. In this episode we hear about the threat to Indigenous languages posed by rising temperature and climate change. From reduced access to country created by extreme heat to the extinction of native flora and fauna, the extreme change in climate felt in Central Australia poses a huge challenge to Indigenous language speakers.
