Ilka Gansera-Lévêque is joined by co-host Stephen Wallis for the May episode to discuss all the latest news from Saint Wendred's. Episode 23 begins with news from the Fresh Art Fair at Cheltenham racecourse at the end of April where Art & Horse Racing Gallery exhibited. A fair which has put Art & Horse Racing on the map. Ilka’s fine art gallery is now on the road to The Petworth Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair and in today’s show Ilka talks about the paintings and sculptures she intends to take along to the picturesque West Sussex venue. To give us more information about the exhibition co-host Stephen spoke to the event’s organiser Ingrid Nilson. Ilka updates us on two of her new artists, Clare Brownlow, and Priscilla Hann. Hopefully, Clare will be joining us next month on the Vantage Point Racing Club podcast. On the racing front White Mist came a close 2nd at Kempton on 17 April. White Mist has now finished 1st or 2nd in all her last seven races. Not bad for a filly who cost only 5,000 Guineas. You will also hear an update on the Vantage Point Racing Club horse Kingwell. Plus listen out for a surprise guest who makes a short, but noisy, appearance at the end of episode 23. Art & Horse Racing will be on the road in 2024 at the art fairs below: - Petworth Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair May 17th-19th (stand 40) - "The Racehorse in Art Exhibition" at Saint Wendred's July 6th-13th 10am-6pm - Art Fair East Nov 7-10th Norwich For more details on all the artists go to www.artandhorseracing.com Plus sign up to the Art & Horse Racing newsletter which is published Thursday weekly.
