As we close the quarter, we challenge you to pick chapters for different circumstances in life, not just for you but also to encourage others, meditate on these and pray over them!

    It's easy to bless or praise God when you see Him working (as sometimes we forget that he is ALWAYS working) but when we are going through the thick of it, our (or maybe my) conversations are filled with cries for help and laments and less of praise, worship and blessings. How to I praise God, bless him or worship when I am grieving? The psalms has shown us that it is okay to grieve (because even Jesus did this when he lost his cousin John the Baptist) and even lament but praise, blessings and honour should never be too far. I believe that doing this, giving Christ a worship that never ends in-spite of your circumstance, works as a shield against the devil's temptation to lose trust in God.

    When we love someone, we always want to be in their company. And when they're away we long for their company. In this week's lesson, we learn the true definition of longing for God, and the blessings we receive from this, with one (of many) being peace. Having God in your life brings about peace that unbelievers cannot understand. And that peace is available to you - as long as you accept and receive Him in your life. We aren't implying that your journey will be a smooth sail, but we can assure you that having Jesus in your vessel... you will indeed smile at the storm because you serve a Saviour who is able to command the storm "Peace, be still".
