I must say I don't think I stopped crying this entire podcast. Abbey is a friend of mine, & although I knew part of her story I did not know the whole thing. Abbey's story tells of a mother who has been through some of the most heartbreaking trials of life when bringing her children earthside. From being ecstatic about twins to having a very premature delivery, to devastatingly losing a child & trying to do everything you can to keep the other one alive at the same time. Abbey also tells a story from the perspective of having a special needs child & getting a diagnoses of her child that no parent thinks would be apart of their journey. When I hear her story I hear a woman who has been broken in ways I could not imagine, but of a woman of resilience to do anything & everything to give her children life & give them the best life possible. Her story tells of perseverance, strength, heartbreak, courage, & so much more & I encourage you to listen in.

WE'RE BACK! Thank you all for allowing me to take time off last week, I appreciate it!
This week we are diving into not letting our past define our future. I believe in so many ways we let our past, whether it's things we have done or couldn't accomplish or failures, define if we can do big things in our future. Our past will keep us from making decisions that could change our life because of fear of what may happen again. But what we don't realize it's not changing the past or wishing things would've worked out, it's about something so much more within ourselves. Listen in to find out what that is!

A minor cicumstance with daycare ended up being a blessing in disguise for this mother. Kayla goes into her story of how she was a full-time teacher that planned to retire as one in the future, but with a sudden change in day care she ended up being home with her kids for what she thought would only be a year. During that year of being a SAHM, Kayla wanted to tap into her creative side & share with others what she was making in the kitchen everyday. From there, Kayla went on to create meal plan ebooks for busy moms just like herself & share her wholesome recipes with those who follow her.
