  • Before you listen...
    2025/05/14

A quick note from the creator.

If you've been here since the beginning, you may have noticed something different. If you're new, this is the perfect place to start.

In this short episode, I’m stepping out from behind the scenes to share how The Wanted Files is evolving, what’s changed, and why I’m finally narrating the stories myself.

This show has always been about the unheard voices, the unsolved mysteries, and the cases that get under your skin - and that hasn't changed.

I’m still learning as I go, but I’m here to tell these stories my way and I’m so grateful you're here for it.

🎙️ Thanks for listening, and welcome to this next chapter.

  • Where are the Sodder Children?
    2025/05/09

This week, A.C. dives into one of the most haunting missing persons cases in American history, the disappearance of the Sodder children. On Christmas Eve, 1945, a fire broke out in the Sodder family home. Five children were never seen again. No bodies. No remains. Just unanswered questions. Did they perish in the fire, their remains somehow completely destroyed? Or were they kidnapped, their disappearance hidden beneath the smoke? And if someone took them, why was there never a ransom demand? The Sodder family spent decades searching for their lost children—but the truth never came.

  • The Happy Valley Murders
    2025/04/25

This week, A.C. dives into the dark and scandalous world of the Happy Valley Murders. In the 1920s and 30s, Kenya’s Happy Valley was a paradise for British aristocrats—an escape filled with wealth, affairs, and reckless indulgence. But beneath the luxury, something far more sinister lurked. People started turning up dead. Some vanished without a trace, others were found murdered in cold blood. And in a society where power meant protection, justice was never guaranteed. Who killed Josslyn Hay, 22nd Earl of Erroll? Was it a jealous husband, a political conspiracy, or something even darker? And how many other deaths in Happy Valley were covered up, erased, and quietly forgotten?
