Welcome to We Walk, a podcast where each episode is a journey of discovery and connection. This first episode was recorded in Portuguese, and on a future episode, you’ll have access to the English translation. In this debut episode, I have the privilege of welcoming an extraordinary guest—Cristina Freitas, my mother.

During this episode, we walk along the “Levada Da Serra Do Faial” in Camacha, on Madeira Island, where I’m originally from. We talked about our walks, our mother-daughter dynamic, and how I discovered my mother as a person beyond her maternal role. We also reflect on how the Camino de Santiago changed our perspective on the world and life.
