In this episode of the Wednesday Bois podcast, Logan, Jared, and Ryan interview a very special guest, Mrs. Stephanie Duesing, a music teacher who made a major medical discovery. Mrs. Duesing is the author of "Eyeless Mind", a memoir about seeing and being seen. Mrs. Duesing is also a Cerebral/Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) advocate ever since her son was diagnosed with the impairment in 2017. In the interview, Mrs. Duesing tells us the story of her and her son and how they were emotionally and psychologically abused by the uneducated medical system because of his condition. Additionally, Mrs. Duesing gives us resources to learn and spread awareness about CVI, so no one has to go through what she and her son did again. We thank Mrs. Duesing very, very much for being on the podcast and for sharing her story!
