Welcome to Season 3 of the Global Architect Alliance (GAA).
This season we are asking the question...."What is it like to practice architecture in your country?"
We will be focusing on many different architects in countries across the globe to understand what are the similarities and differences you face when practicing architecture in your country.
In our 2nd Episode of Season 3 we are joined by Sandra Woodall of TangramGulf an architect who lives and practices architecture in the UAE. Sandra is a Fellow at the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Royal Society of Arts, and the Academy of Urbanism, she is an award-winning designer and leader of tangrams' MENA region studio, who were recognised as 2019 MENA Architecture Firm of the Year, by the Middle East Economic Digest (MEED).
In this episode we discuss culture, sustainability, pay, software, regulations, long working hours and a typical working day in practice in Dubai, UAE.
