MOTHER......We have a PRO.... Nat Lawrence recently re-obtained her pro licence after winning Outlaw 2023 and crossing the line with her 4 children!!!

Buckle in for a great chat about some of the brutalities of the sport at an early age and some of the pressures which led her to develop an eating disorder. After navigating that she then has devoted her life to the sport through a coaching business and setting up a triathlon club.

Nat talks through the importance of why having her own time within her busy life really benefits her children and husband and why it is so important to have something that gives you that head space.

Now she is balancing out everything in her life and enjoying racing pro again after being off the pro scene for nearly 15 years.

Mixing it up with a combination of training spin classes and triathlon training Ricky finds a sweet spot in life but it doesn't come without its sacrifices.

Sophie Grace Holmes was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and told she wouldn't live into her twenties. Now in her thirties she is absolutely dominating the world of fitness in ways which have left doctors scratching their heads.

Her story is inspiring form where she has come from, what she has achieved and even more amazing with what she has got planned in the future.

She is a Coach, athlete, model amongst other things and it was great to spend an hour talking with her.

Donald Brooks is an Eight time World and European age group triathlon champion. It feels like there is nothing he hasn't conquered in the sport.

Alongside performing at an outstanding level at triathlon, Donald also has a busy job and two young children.

He talks into the balance of life and what that looks like for him as he continually aspires for more.

On top of all of this in the past year he went on to win four world championships in four weeks at four different disciplines in triathlon.

This man is a unique talent.

Michael is a triathlon and obstacle race enthusiast. After picking up running with his neighbour in 2015 there isn't many events he hasn't turned his hand to. He even entered triathlons when not really knowing how to swim.

Michael is otherwise known as 'The Urban Challenger' and balances a full time job, family (inlcuding two young children) and all the training and mad challenges he gets up.

Throughout the conversation Michael gives great insight into the balance of his training and talks about how being an ambassador has helped his journey in numerous ways.

Laura Daly has an impressive CV of triathlon results at age group level already and this year she is hoping to make that next step and take her racing to the next level.

Laura loved the sport from a young age but after a bit of a gap got back into it and barely made the bike cut off in one of her first attempts at a full distance. Some years later she is now looking to obtain the pro license.

All the while Laura holds down a busy day job, which does lends itself nicely to assisitng in training for one of the disciplines.

Zack has had an incredible rise through the triathlon ranks since taking up the sport. With a background in rowing and cycling once he transitioned into triathlon he found that this served him well.

Taking on Challenge Roth last year and finishing with an incredible time of 9:17:27 I spoke to him the week before he returns to one of the biggest triathlon races in the world.

Zack also has a job working with the UCI and gets exposire to the biggest cycling events in the world. Even with working with a sport so close to triathlon he still finds the balance of training and life as hard as we all do.
