Stephen has been performing at the Edinburgh Festival for over 15 years on top of touring, appearing on multiple panel shows and presenting various documentaries. Not to mention performing at the Royal Variety in 2007. Having more than earnt his comedy stripes, his Talk Show features guests from all stages of their comedy careers, chatting about the industry, performing and many personal, funny anecdotes. Guy Bolton visits the Audible Studios to discuss his debut novel, pacey crime thriller The Pictures. Set in 1939 Hollywood, the book is a fascinating evocation of the era, with intrigue and mystery at every turn. After a series of unexplained deaths, Detective Johnathan Craine finds himself at the centre of a conspiracy involving a Chicago crime syndicate, a prostitution racket and a set of stolen pictures that could hold the key to unravelling the mystery.

June 2018 saw Motion publish his second biographical sequence, Essex Clay.

A Cambridge graduate, Johann Ari has a long and experienced career as an award-winning journalist. His in-depth research and accessible style, beginning with the war on drugs, which made up his first acclaimed title, Chasing the Scream, challenged the way we see drug addiction and legalisation.

Saad grew up for the first few years of her life in Wales and now lives in Qatar in the Middle East, with her husband and two children. Saad's main motivation in life is to become a 'good ancestor'. This personal mission has influenced the writing of Me and White Supremacy, and Saad hosts a Good Ancestor podcast, in which she interviews guests from a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds.

Brigid Keenan joins Robin Morgan in the Audible Studios to discuss her incredible life and the writing that documents it.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about her book Wally Funk’s Race for Space is science writer and broadcaster Sue Nelson. Wally Funk was one of the 13 members of the 1961 Women in Space Programme. The female aviation pioneer also became the first female air safety investigator for the NTSB and the first civilian flight instructor at Fort Sill, with over 19,000 flight hours. Sue Nelson, former BBC science correspondent and Radio 4 presenter, documents Wally’s extraordinary life in her new book, Wally Funk’s Race for Space, published in 2018.

Joining us in the studio to talk about his latest book, Rebel Ideas, is British table tennis Olympian, author, journalist and broadcaster Matthew Syed. Known for being the ping-pong guy from popular sports podcast Flintoff, Savage and the Ping Pong Guy, Matthew Syed started his career as a table tennis player, competing in two Olympic games, and was ranked as a top player in England for 10 years. Since then, Matthew moved on to a career in journalism, writing a column in The Times and broadcasting on the BBC and Eurosport.

Joining us at Audible Studios is prominent stage and television actor David Tennant, who has narrated The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells for Audible Studios. His latest book, Take Nothing with You, was published in August 2018. Patrick Gale talks to us about his latest book, the inspiration behind it and lessons from his own childhood.

Ant and Dec met on CBBC's Byker Grove and an instant friendship was formed, on and off screen. Joining us at Audible Studios is household name thanks to Channel 4's Gogglebox, June Bernicoff. June, alongside her husband, Leon, joined Gogglebox from its very first season in 2013, until 2017. Unfortunately, after a short illness and complications, Leon passed away just before Christmas in 2017. After his passing, June decided that she couldn't return to Gogglebox alone. She appeared on the show as a partnership: Leon and June. She couldn't face appearing as just June. Instead, she took the opportunity to tell the story of Leon and June.

Joining us at Audible Studios is British racing driver Jenson Button, who won the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship. Button began racing at the age of eight, when his dad bought him his first kart, and he entered Formula 1 in 2000. As with the career of any F1 driver, there are ups and downs due to car issues and failures, but Button was on his way up. In 2009, Button won the Formula 1 World Championship, and at every race along the way, his father was there cheering him on.
