పురాణాల్లో ఎన్నో నీతి కథలు ఉంటాయి. కానీ ఆ పురాణ గాధల్ని ఈ రోజుల్లో చదివే వారు తక్కువయిపోయారు. అందరి కంటే ఎక్కువ గా ఈ కాలం లో చిన్న పిల్లలకు నీతి కథలు చెప్పడం అవసరం. మనకి అందుబాటులో ఉన్న పురాణాలన్నిటిలోనుంచి ఒక 35 నీతి కథల్ని తీసుకొని 35 పురాణ నీతి గాథలు పేరిట శ్రీపాద సుబ్రహ్మణ్య శాస్త్రి గారు మన ముందుకు తీసుకొని వచ్చారు.

The original "Yoga Secrets of Patanjali" are in themselves exceedingly brief, less than 10 pages in the original ancient texts. As per the Mahabharata, Vyasa is the son of rishi Parashara and a fisherwoman named Kali (Satyavati), who later marries king Shantanu of Kuru.
