Boxing superstar and national treasure Nicola Adams OBE joins Sophie Plateau in the Audible Studios. Nicola made herself a household name after becoming the first woman to win an Olympic boxing gold medal at the London 2012 games. At the next Olympics in 2016, she retained her champion status. Alongside this, she is also the reigning world, Commonwealth and European champion. Now recently turned professional, Nicola talks about the ups and downs of her career, all explained in her new autobiography, Believe.

Saad grew up for the first few years of her life in Wales and now lives in Qatar in the Middle East, with her husband and two children. Saad's main motivation in life is to become a 'good ancestor'. This personal mission has influenced the writing of Me and White Supremacy, and Saad hosts a Good Ancestor podcast, in which she interviews guests from a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds.

Joining us in the studio to talk about his latest book, Rebel Ideas, is British table tennis Olympian, author, journalist and broadcaster Matthew Syed. Known for being the ping-pong guy from popular sports podcast Flintoff, Savage and the Ping Pong Guy, Matthew Syed started his career as a table tennis player, competing in two Olympic games, and was ranked as a top player in England for 10 years. Since then, Matthew moved on to a career in journalism, writing a column in The Times and broadcasting on the BBC and Eurosport.

A Cambridge graduate, Johann Ari has a long and experienced career as an award-winning journalist. To have been alive during the last 60 years is to have lived with the music of Paul Simon.
