Alabama Short Stories, Volume 2 is the companion book to the Alabama Short Stories podcast. Volume 2 follows seasons 4-6 of the podcast of the same name. There are thirty stories about athletes and their fans, movie stars, and some whose lives became movies. There are beauty queens, devils, a Spider and Beatles. I tell the story of builders, memorable moments, and extraordinary folks who helped make Alabama the state it is. This audiobook is the same as the podcast.

Shades Cahaba High School started classes in 1920 and has served students in Homewood and other over-the-mountain communities for 100 years. This project was started to record the memories of those that attended and worked at Shades Cahaba and those that just have a great story to tell. This project will continue to the end of 2020.
