Whether providing mermaids with artificial legs or a plesiosaur with an electric and steam-powered prosthetic steel jaw, capturing and dissecting fairies, or isolating naiads from their natural habitat, Dr. Hobbes brings egoism, hubris, and bloody-mindedness to every investigation, to the detriment of all those around him.

You probably won't like Dr. Hobbes, but his stories will keep you interested.
