K for Kara

A new girl is starting in Kara’s class: Gabriella. She is sweet and popular. Everyone thinks so, except for Kara. She actually thinks Gabriella is annoying and mean. Kara avoids Gabriella, but it is not fun, because suddenly Kara feels like an outsider. What can she do?

Kara and her friends thinks putting on makeup is fun, even though it isn't something they are really allowed to do. But it makes you feel a little grown-up, which is exciting.

Kara loves drawing and she's good at it too. But when she starts taking drawing classes with people who are very good at drawing, she suddenly loses her confidence. In fact, she doesn't think drawing is fun anymore.

This is a true tale about a great friendship between two very different people. But are they really that different in the end? When Nadia starts in Kara's class, she's a little shy but Kara happily shows her around. That makes Nadia feel right at home. When Kara meets Nadia in the local park, Nadia is surrounded by her entire family. They all speak in a different language and some of them are wearing scarfs around their head. Suddenly, Kara is the one who's feeling shy and almost doesn't want to go and talk to Nadia.
