Passion. It was the thing - the emotion - that compelled you toward what you desired. When passion called you, you had no choice but to listen and obey. Obey and become it’s slave. I wanted Brooke. I desired her. I craved her and wanted her to be mine. Forever. But danger was on the horizon. Danger for her and for me. Danger I wasn’t sure I could stop.

It started with a vision that made us follow the exodus back to Salem. No one knew the dangers that lay ahead or the seriousness of the threat coming. I didn’t know I’d have such a big part to play. After all, I thought I was just a half-witch. Until Noah showed me there was more to me than what met the eye. I’d always been told never to trust vampires. I’d always been told to beware of them. They’re dangerous and mysterious, and only look out for themselves. But I did the opposite of what I was told. I did more than just trust him.

I never saw Adam Bryson coming. Then, he hit me like a nightmare and a dream rolled into one. It all started on the day I was supposed to be celebrating my promotion. Except, I didn’t get the job. He did. Magic and witchcraft ruled my life since going to Salem. My calling as a witch in the Coven of the Hallowed was supposed to be a priority. I just wanted some element of normal. Like how it used to be before I had to worry about the world ending.
