The Last Paladin

I was once a mighty Paladin of Darkness, mother of all the Elements. The one and only of my kind. Some called me the chosen one, a savior destined to rescue the world; others insisted I would be its downfall. I never got the chance to discover who was right. Society conspired with the traitors to trap me in the deadly Element of Time. But a year later, I managed to break free . . . wait, how has it been 700 years?

Hunter was just a normal average guy. Then he died. That's when the problems started. For one, he wasn't heading for heaven. He was on a one-way trip to the other place. Secondly, an angel literally pulled him from the brink of Hell and gave him a choice: Go straight to Hell, don't pass go, don't collect $200. Or, be put inside the body of an alternate version of himself on a completely different Earth where magic, not technology, rules, and get a chance to redeem his soul.

After warning the Germanian Czar about the Nightlord's impending invasion, Hunter is tasked with a crucial mission: escort Princess Katherina to the Northlands and secure an alliance against the encroaching darkness. But fate has other plans. When their ship falls prey to Northmen raiders, Hunter and Katherina find themselves the sole survivors, stranded in hostile territory. Now, they must navigate treacherous lands, evade ruthless pursuers, and reach the Northlands' capital before it's too late.
