The Seaview Series

Widow and scuba diver Rose Lambert uses her savings to buy a ramshackle four-room hotel on a Caribbean beach. She hires local workers, overcomes unexpected obstacles, makes friends, and works to build a life for herself on a small island where everyone knows everyone else--and their business. She knew it would be hard work, but what she didn't plan on was Ignatius and the way he made her feel. The Seaview will have the listener imagining they are on a Caribbean vacation with engaging islanders, breathtaking scenery above and below water, and a little romance.

Now that Seaview is refurbished and reopened Rose Lambert's dream seems to be coming true, but the arrival of Hurricane Alphonso might end her dream before it can really begin. Her first guests are in residence and one of them acts like the hurricane with its wind, rain, and power outages is a personal affront. Rose's attempts to fit into the island community are thwarted by nasty rumors spread by a local woman who resents Rose's romance with Ignatius "Iggy" Solomon. And Calvin Brooks, the lecherous plumber, just won't take "No!" for an answer.
