The Dark Corners of the Mind.

  • サマリー

  • There cannot be light without darkness. Polarity is defined as "the state of having two opposite or contradictory tendencies, opinions, or aspects". As beautiful as life can be, every light creates a shadow. There are many polarities within us; good and evil, love and hate, greed and compassion, fear and courage.... You cannot have one without the other.

In this episode, Adam and Jarrod venture to the dark corners of their minds to sit with what lies in the shadow. Because without going within, we cannot see what lies in the darkness. We are not aware of out triggers, fears, and self-limiting beliefs. Brining them into the light does not make them disappear, however, it limits the power that they are having on us each day. It allows us to regulate our emotions and not be stuck in past experiences when triggered. We can see that we are not a victim, and that we can view the external world through a lens of love and compassion instead of fear and hate.
