    The United States has what’s effectively a beta version of Democracy with a fair number of bug fixes. While other countries, especially New Zealand have moved on to Democracy 4.0.

    New Zealand system:
    - You vote for party, not person. Each party has candidate lists
    - Each district is has more than one person in parliament
    - It’s ranked choice voting
    - Everyone who wins a seat, gets their seats
    - Parties who don’t win enough seats to be represented get extra seats

    - Top 4 with Ranked Choice
