Most people severely under-estimate the importance of sustainability built on a robust inner life framework. Too many people are focused on, and relying on talent alone, as an indicator for success and contentment. This is a massive mistake that's destined to bring them unstuck sooner or later. You see, you need a foundation. You need a plumb-line of values and convictions that you refuse to compromise on. Your talent will work. Your talent will grow. However, if you don't build on the rock steady platform of what's required in your inner life, your trajectory towards your potential is already diminished.
