In this first episode you are introduced Duncan, a young Scots IT consultant in Scotland, Julianna, a middle-aged wife, mother and ex-dancer in England, and Margot, the retired chef in Australia, as well as some of their friends and family members. In future episodes we'll follow their progress as they try to learn how to make sourdough bread, while dealing with all the challenges that life throws in their way. For Margot, in Brisbane, Australia, you'll hear "Waltzing Matilda - the Queensland Version". The podcast theme, and that of the cookery class, is an original composition by John. In the regular Zoom sessions, you’ll also encounter Caroline, who produces the classes from her home in Hampshire, Freddie, a retired postman in Lancashire and Rosemary, a young barista in London. And here they all are, in Episode 1 “Loaves, Actually”. Enjoy!
