For this episode I speak with Carla Hosmar, Learning Commons Lead and Student Support Services at London Christian High. She gives great insights on what the pandemic has looked like for students in their learning, and mental health and the ways they have supported students both then and moving forward.

For this episode I speak with Ian Timmerman, Director of School Services at Edvance. Edvance is an organization that many Christian schools in Ontario are affiliated with that provides support, resources, and collaboration for schools and leaders. Prior to Edvance he was Principal at Laurentian Hills Christian School where he still was at the beginning of the pandemic. We discuss his transition from Laurentian to Edvance, what his role has looked like, and what he sees moving forward.

For this episode I speak with Eliza Mathai and Jacob Groot, graduates from TDChristian High School in 2021 where I had the opportunity to be alongside them for their high school journeys. We reflect on their Grade 12 year through the pandemic and their transition into university for this past school year. I hope you enjoy their perspective and what they have taken from this time.

For this episode I speak with Duncan Todd, Principal at Hamilton District Christian High School. Duncan and I were first introduced in August of 2019 when I was in my first week of this Masters program and he was heading into his first year of Principal. We talk about the last three years and how the pandemic has shaped his school, his staff and his growth as a leader.

For this episode I speak with Angie Bonvanie, Principal at Halton Hills Christian School. She is also in the Masters program at ICS and we were first connected in October 2019 when I visited her school to learn about their hiring process. She was in her own process of job shadowing to become the next Principal which is where our conversation begins. From there she reflects on the past few years, what she has learned as a leader, and most importantly, a good reminder of our need to have our anchor in Christ.

For this episode I speak with my colleague at Toronto District Christian High School, Richard Peters who also happens to be in the Masters program at ICS. He currently teaches and oversees our Drama and Improv programs, and I also had the opportunity to teach alongside him this past semester in Grade 9 Phys Ed. We talk about the challenges of doing Improv online, what it meant for his drama productions, how it affected him personally, and what he is taking moving forward.
