Up until 6 months ago, I was caught in a legalist diet that I'd followed for years and encouraged my clients to use. God kept calling me to lay down my pride and trust that I needed more food, less elimination and focus on food in general. The greatest struggle of my life.
For 18 months God called me to eat more food and lay down my heavy weights, I was under-fueled and sore, constantly. But I didn't listen, I found myself hungry, overworked, sore and never seeing true changes in my body.
Once I started to lean in and follow His lead, I found myself bloated and six pounds up. I was really frustrated in my prayer time one day and He kept asking, Do you trust Me? Do you trust Me? Yes Lord, of course I do. So, I kept going and since then I've lost over 20 pounds, reaching my 94-pound weight loss goal.
He always knows best. Why do we fight it?
MACROS are amazing because we don't have to eliminate food groups, we take 5 minutes to plan each day, plugging in the meals we know we'll have, dinner out, a cocktail or dessert, we plan it and work around the rest. It's a beautiful, freeing type of eating and one I'm working with my weight loss mentorship clients on right now.
You don't have to (and you shouldn't) worry about Thanksgiving, plan your food, work around the rest, drink your water and enjoy Your LIFE. This is empowered eating and the people you see reaching their weight loss goals are eating this way. It is freeing, it is sustainable, it is the KEY to your success!
