  • I Choose Hope – Surviving Domestic Violence
    2022/08/05
FINAL EPISODE | Episode 20; On this week’s episode, I speak with Jessica Patzell (Jess Patz) founder of I CHOOSE HOPE and survivor of domestic violence where we bring this uncomfortable and taboo conversation to the table so we can better understand what support looks like. Jess is on a mission to remove the stigma and uncertainty of talking about DV and instead supports everyone to at least start talking about it. Let’s not be OK with sweeping it under the carpet and wishing it gone. Let’s instead choose to arm ourselves with tools and support networks to tackle it head on with grace, and free of judgement. • Talanoa: to tell a story, an inclusive conversation - A story about Mental Health | Part 4
    2022/07/08

Episode 16; part 4.  The last episode of the mini part series with Fred Fata.

This episode is such a beautiful way to close off our conversation around Mental Health, Mental Health services and Mental Health support, what it looks like and what it can look like.

Fred taught me about Talanoa: to share stories, build empathy and to make wise decisions for the collective good. We share our hopes, our visions and our excitement for what an alternative support model can look like and what it is we are working towards and supporting each other to achieve.

This conversation is part 4 – the last episode of a multipart series. See Episode 8 for part 1, Episode 10 for part 2 & Episode 14 for part 3.
