The Tennessee Titans are a team that needs more talent and a player like Kyle Pitts could be on the move. Should the Titans make a trade to acquire the talented tight end? Possibly, but they have a Kyle Pitts at home. Training camp is right around the corner and there will certainly be a lot to be excited about, but after the disappointments of the past, it may be hard to have a normal level of excitement. The Tennessee Titans drafted Cam Ward in the hopes he would not only lead them to victories, but that he would transform the culture of the team and he seems to be off to a fantastic start as stories of his insane work ethic and dedication begin to come out. Ward has been receiving praise in the media, from his coach Brian Callahan and his teammates like receiver Calvin Ridley. Ward can't be the only leader of the new school though, as players like JC Latham and T'Vondre Sweat look to step up and are showing leadership in the way they prepare for their sophomore season. Finally, a veteran in Cody Barton looks to take a leadership role in the center of the defense and Femi Oladejo looks to make an impact as well.

The Tennessee Titans took the field once again on Tuesday and Cam Ward had his TOUGHEST TEST yet as the Titans focused on third down scenarios for most of practice. Ward started out slow, but got better as practice went on, regardless this was more of a learning day for the rookie and those are as important right now as the impressive days. Ward's college teammate, receiver Xavier Restrepo, had a nice day and continues to show that his undrafted status is as perplexing now as it was in real time. Finally, the Titans' best player, Jeffery Simmons remains absent while newly-signed veteran Kevin Zietler will be brought along slowly, and should be.

The Tennessee Titans defense needs to be much more consistent this year and a player like Femi Oladejo at edge should allow them to do that with his freakish profile even if it may take some time. In the secondary, the Titans are surprisingly thin at corner and a young player in Gabe Juedy-Lally seems to be stepping up. Finally, the linebacker group will be battling, but special teams and skillset will be what decides the fight.

The Tennessee Titans are far from roster cutdown day, but now is a good time to look at who might make this roster. Starting on offense, wide receiver will be the most intriguing and Treylon Burks should not be on the 53 come Week 1. That leaves room for multiple rookie receivers to have a role and a spot. Also, Will Levis really needs a trade and makes the most sense for both parties involved. The Titans truly need just two quarterbacks on the roster and Brandon Allen is the mentor backup. Finally, on the offensive line, depth positions are up for grabs and there are a lot of players fighting for them.

Cam Ward has gotten all of the attention when it comes to the Tennessee Titans quarterback position and rightfully so, but Will Levis was in that spot last year and it is clear that the strong demotion has affected Levis. What is best for both parties has always been a trade, but it is obvious one needs to happen sooner rather than later. So much attention has been paid to the offense overall too, but looking at the defense, there are battles that took a small step forward this week, like inside linebacker, where Otis Reese may have an early lead. Cam Ward took Tennessee Titans OTAs by storm on Wednesday when he had a solid start showing his excellent timing, accuracy and ability to make an instant connection with his fellow rookies! Ward absolutely looked the part and was the talk of the town in the Titans first open session of Phase 3 of OTAs. On the flipside, Will Levis struggled and looked equally disappointed off the field after practice. Levis' development is best for the team and Levis, but it is hard to envision a scenario where he can be at his best in Nashville. Finally, during Ward's nice day, his rookie receivers made some big plays including Elic Ayomanor and Chim Dike. Both players have a chance to make a major impact right away.

The Tennessee Titans will begin Phase 3 of their offseason this week and with that comes a heavy focus on the quarterback situation. Head coach Brian Callahan said things will likely change now with the rep distribution and even though Cam Ward should get the lion's share, Will Levis should be getting backup quarterback reps. This is good for Levis, but also good for the Titans. Next, all eyes will be on the camp battles set to take place. Linebacker, edge, wide receiver, tight end and special teams all have major battles to watch. Finally, there is so much change for the Titans it will be interesting to see how all the pieces fit together, but there will be some players who do not attend and expecting Jeffery Simmons or Kevin Zietler to be there would be a mistake.
