    Getting injured is never easy. Beyond the physical pain and limitations, there’s often a deeper challenge — the mental struggle. The fear of not returning to your sport, the frustration of setbacks, and the anxiety about the future can weigh heavily on any athlete.

    That’s why today’s episode focuses on the mental side of recovery — how to stay mentally strong, resilient, and focused even when your body is healing.

    I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Martins Licis, Latvian-American strongman and winner of the 2019 World’s Strongest Man competition. We talked about what it means to have a “Strongmanned Mindset” and shared personal stories about overcoming injuries — from the physical toll to the emotional impact — and how we pushed through them to come back stronger.
