In today's episode, we get to see how Kelvin Marsh moved from the British slums up through his teens as an elite boxer and then on to coaching elite athletes all-around the globe to achieve Olympic gold medals and league wins. We also gain a deeper understanding of HOW to lead and instruct your surroundings and how you can personally find the motivation to crush tomorrow's challenges.
Kelvin Marsh has been a personal trainer for over 30 years, and a professional fitness trainer for many different sports for over 25 years. Through his boxing career at an elite level from 1986 - 1992, he learned a lot about how one train their body and mind; namely that with determination and a positive mindset you can achieve the unexpected. In contrast, even though you have enormous talent and potential, without a focused 'mindset', you will never reach your full potential. These early lessons have been the cornerstone of Kelvin's coaching philosophies.
He has worked at a very high level in several different countries, where he has had to overcome cultural and communicative differences. But regardless of culture, language and age, he has never forgotten these principles of hard work, focus and integrity, qualities that can help elevate anyone from mediocrity to success.
A quick overview of Kelvin's background:
