In King's Landing, Alicent is recovering from her injury from last episode’s riot and taking a “mental health day” by camping in the Kingswood, while back at the Red Keep, Aegon struggles through painful physical therapy after his injuries at Rook’s Rest. Meanwhile, Aemond is taking command, sending some of Aegon’s Whitecloak friends to the Wall and plotting his next moves with Larys Strong.

On Dragonstone, Rhaenyra deals with internal strife as she auditions new dragonriders to strengthen her forces. Addam Velaryon bonds with Seasmoke, but her son Jace is uneasy, feeling threatened by the addition of new riders. Hugh the Hammer makes an impression, winning over the mighty Vermithor, while Ulf the White manages to claim Silverwing in a lucky encounter.

Meanwhile, Alicent tries to maintain control, but Aemond isn't having it, signaling that her influence on the council is waning.

Things get chaotic when Alicent and Helaena are caught in a riot, with angry smallfolk shouting for Queen Rhaenyra as they scramble for food and resources. The tension between the crown and the people of King’s Landing is palpable, and it's only getting worse.

The episode kicks off with a VNN broadcast where we learn that A-Train’s new movie has been canceled, much to Ashley’s delight as a tax write-off. The tone quickly shifts as Firecracker, The Deep, and Black Noir star in a cringeworthy "#AllLivesMatter" PSA, setting the stage for the madness to come. Homelander, ever the drama king, finds a photo of Butcher and Becca in Ryan’s backpack, triggering a laser-fueled tantrum that sends Ryan running.

As the political stakes rise, Homelander drops a bombshell live on Firecracker's show by outing VP-elect Neuman as a Supe. The fallout is swift, leading to a scramble among The Boys to gather dirt on Neuman, only to find their evidence mysteriously gone. The real Annie, still chained up, breaks free in time for a brutal showdown with her shape-shifting doppelgänger, saving Hughie and the team in the process.
