First up, we have a conversation with Jenny Adams, CEO of Lumina Alliance, to talk about Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the life-changing work they do through their Shelter for Survivors Initiative. Jenny shares insights on their emergency shelter and transitional housing programs, plus highlights some impactful events happening this October to raise awareness and support survivors in our area.

    Next, Robin Coleman from Woods Humane Society is back with our Pet of the Week! This week’s spotlight is on Theo, a lovable pup looking for his forever home. Featuring the awe-inspiring Forbes Organ and guest organ virtuoso Felix Hell, this opening night promises to be an unforgettable experience. Andrew shares his journey from conducting at age 16 in New Zealand to leading orchestras worldwide and now, SLO Symphony, for his eighth season. Adam and Andrew also take a deep dive into the art of conducting and how that tiny baton commands an entire orchestra.
