  • NYC's Justin Schuman: Authenticity & Personal Brand Expert

    Justin Schuman graduated from Northwestern in 2013. Since then he
    has appeared on Broadway in Tina: the Tina Turner Musical, amassed
    a combined media following nearing 400k, and has built multiple
    businesses that he runs while traveling the world.

    With an invitation to appear on the Dr. Phil show, a guest lecturing
    opportunity at USC, and a TEDx talk of his own in 2022, Justin's role
    as a Human Consultant and Content Creator seamlessly paves the
    way for appearing on podcasts.

    As an Authenticity Advocate and Personal Branding Expert, Justin
    guides his private clients and members of his group coaching
    community, The Human Approach, in discovering their authentic
    voices. He empowers social media beginners globally to build
    compelling personal brands that make a genuine impact both online
    and offline.

  • Gabriel Cooper: Self-Esteem and Dating For LGBTQ+ Men

    Gabriel Cooper (he/him) (Comm/Medill '10) is an active member of NUPAC and works as a psychotherapist in Los Angeles, California. He specializes in therapy with men, LGBTQ2+ folks, and those living with invisible disabilities. He is the founder of The Mindfulness Lab and is involved in well-being research at Cambridge University. He sees clients in person and virtually, and is always open to connecting with other NU folks over therapy or simply to say hi!

  • Evanston's Nick Winters, PhD: Assistant Professor of Classics
    2023/10/02

    Nick Winters is a classicist and former physicist specializing in ancient mathematics and science. His dissertation proposed a major revision to the history of Greek mathematics, organizing ancient mathematical texts into networks of information transmission and methodology. Outside of mathematics, Dr. Winters' work has included projects in ancient medicine, music, engineering, and practical sciences such as surveying and accounting, weaving and textile arts, timekeeping, and navigation. He is an editor of the undergraduate research journal Philomathes, and a member of the Hellenic Institute for Cultural Diplomacy and the Trans in Classics organization.
